Smithsonite from Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. 20th Century.


Smithsonite is named after English mineralogist, James Smithson. Although it comes in a myriad of colors, this specimen is replete with large, intensely pink crystals. It epitomizes what collectors look for from the species.
