Fascinating and slightly more complex Hematite crystal (compared to others in this group we purchased in 2023) with multiple growth phases yet still having an overall hexagonal shape and bevelled edges to the main crystal. The metallic luster and silver-black color visually gives way to the numerous sets of crystal growth striations. Additionally the sub-parallel crystal growth on the display face has formed a shallow rosette that is 1.6 cm wide. The piece is in an early oxidation state as seen on the edges and the red streaks across the faces, however there is still plenty of silver metallic "pop" to the specimen. It has no obvious contact points and is complete all around. There is associated white Calcite present randomly throughout the Hematite. From 2023 finds.
