Beautiful and engaging combination specimen of multiple spherical groupings of lustrous two-toned green Zincolivenite on an interesting unknown metallic silver host. The piece has areas of Zincolivenite exhibiting an almost preferential dark green color that contrasts with a translucent apple-green color that is usually associated with the discernible pyramidal crystals. The "bear-paw" groups are up to 8 mm in length with the individual crystals up to 3 mm. The Zincolivenite has a superb wet luster and radiant green glow under magnification. This rare zinc-copper arsenate mineral is from the late 2022 to 2023 finds at the famous Milpillas Mine and has been analyzed. They are the world's most recent high level examples of the species, not seen in this quality since from Tsumeb, decades ago.
