Manganoan Smithsonite
Unknown Owner
This specimen features manganoan smithsonite crystals with high luster and excellent color on a mixed sulfide matrix. These specimens were found in the early 1980’s and are often mistakenly labeled as cobaltoan. With a trained eye one can spot the difference. A nicely arranged vug with excellent color contrast. A great collection quality specimen.
