Description
We have been offering a number of older Chinese specimens from the 1990s and early 2000s, which we got in the purchase of several private collections in China, during COVID years. Now back to the US and cleaned properly, we are proud to offer a number of old classics for sale. This is a remarkable large cluster of euclase hosting several large crystals to 2 cm in height and size. They have a unique yellow-amber hue to them, and came out of this working economic ore mine long ago, perhaps early 2000s. Many people know this mine as a source of eccentric fluorites similar to those from Yaogangxian, in Hunan Province - and often mixed up with those. However, it also produces oddities like fine molybdenite specimens, and euclase. This is a rich cluster with huge crystals from the best Chinese location for euclase (perhaps, not really widely known among collectors outside of China as the better specimens came out so long ago).
Known provenanceKnowing where your specimen comes from and who owned it adds to its story and value. Good provenance helps prove it's authentic and preserves important details about its discovery.
