Numerous, bright orange, square crystals of Wulfenite are distributed on a somewhat circular piece of matrix that is covered in a druse of tiny Wulfenite crystals. Several of the lustrous, translucent to transparent crystals are standing upright on the surface and display prominently on this showy Red Cloud Mine piece. Aside from the sparkling Wulfenite druse, there are at least two dozen larger crystals on this small cabinet specimen and they range in size from 2 mm to 1.3 cm across and they all have tapered edges due to slight pyramidal modifications. As is typical of Red Cloud specimens, the piece doesn't show associated species just a great number of beautiful Wulfenite crystals! Please note, the standing crystal is repaired. We bought and sold much of this pocket in 2003 when it came out, including this specimen.
