A significant, and actually quite beautiful, extended specimen of connected prehnite crystals, from a very old and famous locality in Spain. In good lighting, with a little backlighting only, these are so gemmy and translucent. The front is sparkling with a thousand tiny terminations. We have seen large numbers of smaller examples, and some bigger but clunkier; but this is a particularly aesthetic and complete example! Old Jordi Fabre label, and he sold it to us as it came back from one of the major Spanish collections he had himself helped build over decades.
