The rare calcium-magnesium-iron phosphate Collinsite was first discovered in British Columbia and named in the 1920's and was later found within the phosphate suite occurring at Rapid Creek in the Dawson Mining District of Yukon, Canada. This fine miniature is a mass of translucent white, triclinic crystals forming a hedgehog textured specimen!
