Tucson, Arizona, USATwo parallel tabular crystals of yellow-orange Wulfenite from Touissit, Morocco, stand dramatically up from a miniature specimen of gossany, limonitic matrix with smaller intergrown platy Wulfenite crystals. The largest Wulfenite crystal is 14 mm on edge with the one in front 10 mm across. The crystals are perfection in form, demonstrating the tetragonal crystal system, as tabular crystals with bevelled edges. Due to the softness and brittle nature of Wulfenite, there are a couple of tiny nicks to the top edge of the largest crystal, but the shape of the crystals are wonderful. The crystals are opaque to translucent and have a slightly resinous lustre. A very fine miniature specimen.
