A single, matrixless, gemmy yellowish Scapolite crystal 4 cm in length from Morogoro, Tanzania. The crystal is a prism, with nice vertical growth lines and glassy internal clarity, but the termination is missing one crystal face, which is fractured away. Otherwise it is a nice example of a mineral which is rarely of gem quality. An older specimen with a dealer label from Austria.
