At over 2 ounces, this is a very significant and heavy example of the kind of old Colorado gold that drove the Colorado gold rush in the late 1800s. It consists of a dense birdsnest style cluster, very tightly wound together. These wires are actually crystals, elongated and spinel twinned. We seldom see any large examples from this old discovery. 68.6 g.
