A truly elegant cluster of elongated crystals, some of them spinel twinned, showing the finest possible luster for gold from this famous old locality. This is an intricate piece with unusual dimensionality, not just flat as these typically are found but somewhat curving in-person, which makes light reflections more visually stimulating as well. It is a particularly elegant example of the famous "floating crystals" style from Eagle's Nest Mine, with the gold linked to each other in a chain of crystals. It is actually very stable and solid, despite looking gracile and elegant.
