Chalcopyrite$2,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This could be one of the more unusual pieces from this little discovery that we purchased, as the right side features several small "tentacles" in addition to botryoidal growths of chalcopyrite. A broken tip on the front-facing tentacle reveals the internal radial formation. In several places on the crystal, tarnishing (or perhaps heat exposure) has resulted in a bit of color alteration in blues and pinks. This bright, brassy cluster came to us in a small "COVID-era" find in China, but the brassy chalcopyrite clusters (often called blister copper) could initially be mistaken for old, classic finds from Cornwall. Unusual material from ANYwhere, be it China or England!
