A nice, gemmy pair of cherry-red Spinels are side-by-side on this elongate piece of off-white, sparkly Calcite matrix from the Mogok Stone Tract in Burma. The largest crystal measures 7 mm across and other 4 mm. Both have excellent color and luster with a mostly gemmy and firey interior with bright red internal reflections. The Spinels contrast well with the off-white marble matrix. They have excellent fluorescence. These sharp red gems are classics from the 1990s!
