Tucson, Arizona, USAA great small cabinet specimen of light limey apple green Smithsonite occurring as a druse of 0.5 to 1 mm crystals from Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The Smithsonite covers a plate of cemented granular creamy-apricot matrix forming a lozenge-shaped specimen with an undulating and partly botryoidal surface. The Smithsonite crystals have a good bright glassy lustre which, given the size of the crystals, produces an overall sparkling effect. This lovely specimen comes with a previous collector's label.
