Tucson, Arizona, USAWell crystallised Beudantite, Anglesite and Mottramite richly cover this sharply pointed triangular shard of Quartz-rich matrix from the 2nd Oxidation Zone in the Tsumeb mine, Oshikoto Region, Namibia. Beudantite, a lead-iron arsenate, occurs as typical dark brown to slightly reddish-brown blocky crystals amongst slender acicular Anglesite crystals of between 1 and 3 mm tall. Underlying these species is a mat of intensely dark green (verging on black) Mottramite.
