A lustrous glittering display of maroon red Cuprite with flashes of red, forming a druse over a dense Cuprite matrix from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Crystals of Cuprite are cubo-octahedral to dodecahedral in form measuring to 6mm, with striated faces. The crystals of Cuprite are partly over grown by pearly lustered areas of contrasting white Dolomite, with here and there inclusions of green Malachite. A fine combination specimen from the Tsumeb.
