Tucson, Arizona, USARich drusy mats of intergrown deep olive-green Olivenite crystals cover an undulating vuggy upper surface of a ferruginous milky Quartz veinstone matrix. Under low magnification, the carpet of Olivenite crystals are seen to be perfectly terminated and present a most attractive speckled luster. This specimen, from Wheal Gorland in St. Day, Cornwall, legendary for its rare copper arsenate minerals, is an excellent example of this particular Olivenite morphology.
