This is a terrific specimen of Cobaltoan Smithsonite from a classic location, namely the Tsumeb mine. The Smithsonite crystals are well developed in habit measuring to 1cm. They are gemmy to translucent pink, and lustrous rich overgrown the display face of the Galena matrix. The Tsumeb Mine is world renowned for producing classic mineral specimens, and Cobaltoan Smithsonite comes under such a banner. This is a particularly superb specimen with great form, excellent lustre, a real classic specimen from the Tsumeb Mine.
