Tucson, Arizona, USAA classic specimen of Smithsonite depicting one of the several known crystal habits from the famous Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Excellent sharply developed prismatic crystals of Smithsonite protrude out from a vein of matrix on both sides in many directions. Crystals of Smithsonite measuring to 2.5cm, a few are double terminated as well. The colour of the Smithsonite is from a gemmy near colourless to tinted slightly yellow. A pleasing prismatic crystal group from the Tsumeb.
