A thin, but relatively sturdy, plate, or 'leaf', of partly crystallized Native Gold still attached to a little micro-crystalline Quartz on the reverse face, from the famous Round Mountain mine in Nye County, Nevada, USA. Both the upper and lower faces show flattened triangular crystal development. The specimen has hackly edges and a net weight of 1.4 g. A great large thumbnail showing classic Round Mountain form.
