Tucson, Arizona, USAA terrific Cuprite from Tsumeb with many dozens of bright lustrous claret-red crystals scattered over and throughout a fine granular limonitic matrix. Individual Cuprite crystals range from sub-mm to 7 mm in diameter and are translucent; allowing incident light to show their colour to advantage. Granular creamy-white Cerussite occurs in patches and very occasional micro-crystals of Mimetite can be seen. A good Tsumeb Cuprite with excellent crystal coverage.
