Tucson, Arizona, USACreamy pale peppermint green Smithsonite forms a translucent bubbly botryoidal surface across this delicately coloured miniature from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The botryoidal habit is exaggerated to form semi-complete spheres in many crystals, these typically averaging about 8 mm across. The Smithsonite grades to an opaque white massive matrix beneath the display surface. A lovely example of a rarer, more ethereal coloured Tsumeb Smithsonite.
