Almandine on Muscovite$850.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This sweet miniature crystallized Garnet specimen is something a little different. From Henson's Creek mine, North Carolina, USA., this is possibly the locality referred to on Mindat.org as 'Pat's Garnet mine. The specimen consists of a fine intergrowth of very dark brown, to almost black, well-formed Almandine Garnet crystals individually measuring up to 1.4 cm across. Although many of the Almandine crystals are interlocked, they show really good crystal faces. These crystals sit upon a fan-like spray of large platy silvery to brown lustrous Muscovite crystals. A really nice Eastern USA Garnet specimen.
