Tangerine-orange Ludlockite crystals form a dense mat covering a 6 x 5 mm area in a metallic matrix of granular Germanite. The Ludlockite, a lead-iron arsenite, occurs as very fine acicular needles with a silky lustre. On one side of the specimen is a distinct 4 x 3 mm patch of micro-acicular white needles, most probably Schaurteite. An excellent large thumbnail specimen containing two very rare species.
