This excellent rich, light to deep gooseberry-green gemmy-translucent crystal cluster of Uvite tourmaline comes from the Pomba Pit, Brumado, Brazil, a locality famous not only for Uvite, but rare-earth bearing phosphates and world-class Magnesite crystals too. It is small miniature in size, but the crystals of Uvite, which measure to 9 mm make for a really beautiful display of this unusual tourmaline variety. The specimen is attached to a small acrylic base for display.
