A single, sharp rhombohedral Cobaltoan Smithsonite crystal of pale rose-pink is nicely perched on top of a good, but less well-developed crystal of similar colour. The display crystal has a maximum dimension of 3 cm; is lightly striated across its faces and has a slightly waxy lustre. A lovely thumbnail Smithsonite from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia.
