Tucson, Arizona, USAA large and delicate tabular crystal of Wulfenite measuring 4.3 x 2.8 x 0.05 cm attached at its base to a thin plate coated in sub-mm rhombohedral Calcite crystals. Some edges of the Wulfenite crystal are slightly broken and frayed; unsurprising when the crystal is only around 0.5 mm thick. It is pale honey-tan with frosted faces, but still of very high lustre. The faces are intricately etched and many of these tend to a pinkish-red where concave. A fine and unusual Wulfenite from Tsumeb.
