An impressive specimen of the rare Tsumeb Mine Cadmium Smithsonite displaying richly intergrown rhombic crystals measuring to 1.5cm with slightly curved faces. Crystals of silky lustred Cadmium Smithsonite show a gemmy yellow zone over a darker yellow-brown phantom developed on a matrix core of metallic silvery-grey Galena. A particularly well-formed Cadmium Smithsonite specimen from the mine.
