Description
A gorgeous specimen that takes a quick few seconds to calibrate to what you are seeing: a salmon-colored pseudo-cubic form of literally textbook triclinic crystals of chabazite. The crystal is to 1.6 cm on edge, and 2 cm across diagonally. It is simply a sculptural masterpiece for the species, one of the few that might be competitive-worthy. Alex pursued specific specimens of things like this for their rarity and to add breadth to the collection. Normally, a thumbnail chabazite would be both inexpensive and simply representative. This is a higher level for shape, sharpness, color, and display. it looks more like a serandite!
