This calcite on calcite specimen is a classic Elmwood style that exhibits twinning, great luster, and sharp multiple terminations that clearly show wonderful and classic amber-orange color. Best of all is the aesthetics, where the top crystal is perched like an acrobat atop a natural pedestal! Unusual for the location to have that kind of elegant display and sculptural form, as if the top crystal is about to leap off from the pedestal it grew from! The top crystal measures 8.0 cm across. Old material from the 1980s, from the collection of Consie and Dalton Prince. Also, this is complete all around without any significant damage beyond maybe a few tiny dings, 360 degree displayable. Minor fluorite on the back side.
