A major locality piece, this is a stout crystal of columbite-(Mn) from a classic Colorado pegmatite locality. This piece probably originates from the heyday of mining at the Devil's Hole pegmatite during the 1940's. Vestiges of pink orthoclase/microcline feldspar and muscovite are present on the piece. We are assuming it's the Mn-member of the series given the locality. Ex. (old) University of Arizona collection with label.
