An amazing locality garnet specimen, this piece features wine-red crystals of hessonite garnet from the Swiss Alps, all lined up on a beautiful matrix. The color is rich and beautiful with strong lighting, although dark in normal light. Seldom seen, this appears to have been from a small discovery in 2015-2016 and was sold to Brent in 2017. For a Swiss hessonite, it has gem crystals, sharp form, and a pleasing overall aesthetic display.
