A choice miniature of sharp, pink, elongated scalenohedral crystals of cobalt-included Smithsonite on matrix. These elongated scalenohedra are a very rare style, known only from Tsumeb so far as I know, and even there form just a few pockets. The gemmy Smithsonites have a unique glassy/pearly luster, and attractive micro-striations under a loupe. The largest Smithsonite is 1.9 cm. The Smithsonite crystals are well-distributed and balanced, which adds to the nice aesthetics of this fine miniature.
