Mimetite (Campylite) with Baryte$750.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
Campylite is the old variety name for a strange, almost unique style of mimetite crystals once found in the old Cumberland area of England's iron ore districts, the heartland of the industrial revolution there. Such specimens date, almost always, from finds of the 1800s although a few stragglers were found on the dumps in later years. This piece shows of a sharp, three dimensional cluster, 1.4 cm across, perched against baryte for contrast. Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher - 64527
