Sharp, elongated crystals of smithsonite to 2.2 cm make this a fine, important thumbnail example of the species. Here is one of the absolute rarest styles of all crystallized smithsonite - elongated, lustrous, GEM transparent crystals! It is a classic from Tsumeb found in the 1960s and 1970s, sparingly. Such a fine thumbnail as this, in excellent condition, is a true rarity.
