A stunning adamite specimen with intense green color caused by copper from this historic and ancient Greek mining district of Laurium. Note the pleasing shape of the matrix and the nice horizon of crystals. It is especially translucent compared to others here. These adamites from a small March of 2020 pocket have really set a new standard for richness from this locality. This particular miniature is somehow just "prettier" than most others and glows with a brighter color due to transparent thin edges.
