Numerous red Cuprite crystals and scintillating ivory colored Dolomite combine to make up this attractive small cabinet specimen. The elongate aggregate of Cuprite crystals displays a shiny and metallic luster and red - actually crimson - internal reflections! Individual crystals in the group range from a few millimeters up to 1cm across. Patches of tiny Dolomite crystals flank the Cuprite on either side for beautiful contrast and composition. This piece is visually pleasing and unusually attractive for a Tsumeb Cuprite.
