A shocking specimen, a competitive thumbnail, that has a class and style to it that set it apart from others. This is composed of elongated spinel twinned gold crystals, often referred to as wires or ropes but in fact quite crystalline. To my eye, this is the thumbnail version of the incredible Harvard Gold Rope, which many consider to be the finest gold in the world. Something about the graceful curves, the composition, and the almost biological form of these "rope" golds, makes them impactful. A perfectly balanced thumbnail of the highest competitive caliber.
