Fluorite with Manganoan Calcite
An elegant and classic Yaogangxian Mine combination piece featuring pastel blue fluorites nestled amidst towers of stacked pastel pink calcite crystals. The combination of shape and texture is gorgeous and this is unusual, as the pink pagoda calcites in this style seldom occurred with fluorite. We are guessing that this is from late 1990s or early 2000s production. The fluorite in middle, a pastel lavender color, is 2 cm across. The pink tower of stacked discs next to it is 3 cm tall. A very beautiful, classic piece that makes one immediately realize how special this mine was in its heyday.
