A surprising group of large, translucent white classically-shaped Smithsonite crystals from Tsumeb! This is a sculptural piece with Smithsonite crystals to one inch that exhibit an adamantine to satin luster; and all of them are an unusual color that is not colorless but rather luminous white to off-white. Highly unusual, especially in such size! The crystals are in excellent condition with no damage at all to any of the Smithsonites on the display side with only minor contacting out of sight on the bottom right side and then the back and bottom where it was attached and removed from the pocket. The large cluster at the top measures nearly 3cm across and overhangs the remainder of the piece for excellent composition and aesthetic impact! I have seen hundreds of Tsumeb smithsonites, as have we all - but this one stands out.
