Scheelite is rare here and this is a great miniature from the Yaogangxian Mine! This piece consists of a pseudo-octahedral, smoky brown, well-formed, translucent Scheelite crystal with sharp edges and lustrous faces that measures 3.6cm across. The crystal is lustrous and sharp with faint, subtle growth forms on the faces. The Scheelite is associated with translucent, white Calcite rhombs and discs to a few millimeters along with a few tiny Quartz crystals. Ex. Richard A. Blackman collection with label.
