Willemite is one of the more sought-after species from Tsumeb, due in large part to its enchanting colors and the high luster often associated with its botryoidal habit. Interestingly, this attractive small cab consists not of botryoids, but mm-size, subhedral Willemite crystals that completely cover the knobs on the presentation side of this piece. The soft-green color and sparkly luster is quite appealing, and the high luster accents the color and gives the piece a sparkly, drusy appearance. Several of the small knobs have been broken, exposing the matrix core, but the overall aesthetics are good, as you can see in the pics. A fine, and unusual, Willemite from Tsumeb.
