Cuprian rich smithsonite from Tsumeb is uncommon and in great demand by collectors. Thumbnails are uncommon, in this caliber, with such lustrous and sparkling crystals! This specimen on matrix features glassy and translucent, apple green crystals, to 7 mm across. Probably from the 1970s, now such things are seldom seen. In any thumbnail collection, this would be a welcome burst of color! Obtained from Rock Currier back "in the day."
