A very aesthetic and showy miniature featuring a well-formed, lustrous, deep red Spessartine penetrated by gemmy Quartz crystals. The Spessartine is gemmy to translucent, but the color is so deep and rich that it can be best seen as brilliant red flashes under good lighting. The luster is excellent, as is the highly modified form. The piece was attached along the bottom and back, but the miners did a great job removing the specimen virtually intact. Overall, it is a really good, and large, Garnet specimen with fine aesthetics.
