A superbly placed, 1.3 cm, gemmy and lustrous, reddish-orange wulfenite crystal with sharp, beveled edges is aesthetically set on a rectangular gossan crust with a drusy quartz vein on the bottom. The one side and the end are nicely sprinkled with smaller wulfenites on this showy and excellent specimen from the Red Cloud Mine. The large crystal is pristine and all of the crystals have distinctive beveled edges. This piece is from the "last hurrah" of this renowned mine, the 2003 Red Gem Pocket.
