Lustrous, bi-pyramidal, butterscotch-colored wulfenite crystals are richly concentrated on the top of this fine miniature from a new find at the Mina Ojuela at Mapimi, Mexico. This excellent, mounded piece includes one well-placed, doubly terminated crystal, which is the largest crystal on the piece, at 1.4 cm. The exact mine location is Level 6, San Juan Poniente vein. The specimen is not just a flat plate and has good 3-dimensionality.
