Attractive plate of gemmy, pink crystals of Cobaltian Smithsonite. The curved rhombs completely cover the plate, and there is definite gemminess below the silky luster. The largest crystal is about 1.6 cm in length. The color is good, as is the luster, but the crystals are rather flat-lying on the matrix so there isn't as much definition as one would like. A good, representative piece for the locality.
