Smithsonite crystals rarely reach the size of the largest of the crystals found in this attractive miniature. The six crystals, pink, lustrous, and with classic Smithsonite striations, form a tight cluster but with good individual definition. The single biggest crystal in an amazing 1.6 cm on edge and 3 cm ACROSS! The crystals are in very good condition, with only one smaller, cleaved crystal along the periphery. A good, aesthetic miniature with important crystal size! Beyond that, the zoning is facinating. Inside the pink (cobaltian) layer is a phantom crystal showing yellow (cadmian) color. I have not seen this combination before.
