Have you ever seen a mineral specimen quite like this? Probably not, because this is an old Austrian aragonite, and they are just not around on the market. Its form is just incredible - an intricate forest of dozens of wormy tentacles. It seems almost more biological than mineralogical! Aragonites can take on these forms from stalactitic deposition processes, but rarely with this delicateness and beauty.
